In stiff pictorial card covers which are die-cut. A US 'Shaped book'. Stapled. 2 staples rusty. The book is approximately 6.2" tall by 8.0" long, with 12 pages. The text of the book starts on the reverse of the front cover and ends on the reverse of the rear cover. Six pages have full colour illustrations and the remaining illustrations are illustrated in black/white. 2 of the illustrations are 'signed' juStinA, so I assume all are illustrated by her? . No date, circa 1930/40s? . Illustration of hen and her chicks on front cover. A tale about a 'Grumpy Hen' and other animals. Illustrated throughout in colour and black/white. A couple of light pale yellow spots only (foxing) inside, otherwise generally very clean, tight and bright. BRIGHT. Printed in Sweden.
