Quarter bound in blue leather with cream linen over boards; gilt stamping of spine; illustration stamped on felt lined slipcase covered in cream paper with blue cloth sides. Spine leather has faded from blue to greenish blue and has a couple of very faint spots. 500 copies total, this is one of 50 leatherbound "Specials (this is copy no. 35). Originally published in 1824: The experiences of an Anglican minister who came to Canada in 1820 to do missionary work among the early settlers, Indians and Esquimaux. Letterpress printed on Victorian Text by Wil Hudson; pp: xx, 186 + colophon. Signed on the colophon page by the illustrator, printer, designer (Nick Schwabe) and binder (Hans Strohhacker).
