The proof is in fine condition with a small crease top of spine - the contents are fine- no ownership inscriptions. This copy has been flat signed [ name only] by the author in his usual blue pen. This copy comes with 2 very rare items- the first is a promo letter from Pullman ,thanking readers for reading the first book and explaining the theme of this second book- it has a facsimile of his signature at the bottom and is in v.g condition with a central crease where it was folded to go into the proof copy.
