Sadly no jacket, black cloth boards with slightly rubbed gilt titling. Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, boards slightly rubbed and dulled, very slight lean, internally clean and tight, overall an interesting copy. 320pp. The story of a family winning a sweepstake and the effect of sudden wealth on their circumstances and relationships. By author and journalist Arthur Pole Nicholson (1869-1940). Scarce signed.
