The special relationship between Coppard and Golden Cockerel (Coppard's first book, "Adam and Eve and Pinch Me', was also the first book from the press) continues with this lovely book of words and pictures. Decorated title page. Top edge gilt. Five full page, and five smaller engravings by Gwenda Morgan. Unlimited Edition. (There was a limited edition signed by Coppard and Morgan.) This story was subsequently collected in "Dark-Eyed Lady" (Methuen, 1947).
