First edition. 8vo. Signed by the authors. Black cloth, pictorial photographic views on the front and rear endpapers, titles stamped in gilt on the front cover and spine, xxiv, 439 pp., frontispiece, acknowledgments, foreword, illustrated, portraits, afterword, appendices, selected bibliography. The life and times of Texas Ranger Nelson Orcelus Reynolds, 1846 - 1922. Harold J. Weiss, Jr., says "The authors should be commended for putting together an informative and thorough biography of N. O. Reynolds, who took part in major events such as the Mason County War and the chase and death of Sam Bass." The first biography of a little-known Texas Ranger who eventually became commander of Co. E of the Frontier Battalion. After the Civil War, he joined the Texas Rangers in 1874 in Blanco County. He saw action against Indian raiders, but his more famous exploits were against outlaws. As new, unread copy without dust jacket, as issued. A scarce item today.

We accept checks and all major credit cards. Prices are NET to all. PA residents
must add 6% sales tax.
Shipping charges within the continental limits of the U.S. are $9.50 for the
first book and $3.00 per each additional book, if shipped Media Mail. Should you prefer to ship via
either UPS or Priority Mail, mailing prices increase. All over-sized books and all shipments outside the U.S. will be charged actual shipping, insurance, and handling costs. All parcels
shall be shipped insured or with signature required.
All items may be returned within 7 days of receipt with prior notification. We
request any items for return be sent by their original shipping route, be well
packaged and fully insured.
