First published by Zero Press in 1956 this is the first limited reissue signed by Vidal. The Zero Press edition is Young 3937 & 3938 with several stories containing gay themes and characters. Publisher's original taupe & blue linen over boards, lettering to spine in blue. Book Condition: faint signs of handling, else fine. Almost certainly unread. Dust Jacket Condition: very light wear to the extremities, a little dusty, as usual with such a light colored background, a 1cm closed tear at the tail of the spine, some wrinkling at the folds. Signed by the great man himself; from the looks of it, while he was reclining on a motel bed with the magic fingers machine on. Impeccable provenance from the booksellers who handled much of Vidal's personal library in Amalfi. A sharp copy.
