A full length study of Hardy's works including a chapter devoted to the poetry. Fine and tight in imitation burgundy leather with gilt embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine, burgundy-and-yellow headband and tail-band, burgundy end-papers; in a very good plus to near price-clipped fine dust jacket with a touch of fading to the spine panel, tiny nicks to the upper spine edge and with three separate half-inch tears to the shelf-edges of the rear panel. Octavo; 223 pages; notes; select bibliography; index.
