INSCRIBED by author inside front cover. 8vo., 203 pp., bound in publishers red and grey cloth with blue dust jacket, $3.95. Jacket has some overall fading and soiling with chipping along edges, tips and spine. Text appears unmarked. Dust jacket now protected in mylar sleeve. A SCARCE signature in an important book. John Charles Rock was an American obstetrician and gynecologist. He is best known for the major role he played in the development of the first birth control pill.
