Inscribed by Roy Dean on the half-title. A photographic reimagining of the first days of Man, set against the pristine background of the Caribbean sea and sky. Dean (1925-2002), an English-born actor and photograph, was among the first to bring male nude imagery to the masses. Quarto: unpaginated with more than 150 photographs in color and monochrome. Original black cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titles and borders. A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket with just a hint of wear. Housed in the publisher's slipcase.
