The artist discusses the influence of his father N.C. Wyeth, his views on aesthetics and theory, and speaks at length about his personal and painterly relationship to his longtime subjects: Kuerners farm, and Christina Olson, his best-known model. A rare association copy from the library of Hollywood legend Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., bearing his bookplate and Wyeth's friendly inscription. 11'' x 8.5''. Original pictorial wrappers. Text illustrated with 184 plates, most in color, followed by an additional 129 smaller black and white plates reproducing works from the exhibition. 170, [22] pages. Bookplate of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. to front cover verso. Inscribed by Wyeth on title page: "I think we should add to this 'Douglas's World' Andy."
