Ada Reeve (born Adelaide Mary Reeves, 1874-1966) was an English actress of both stage and film Reeve began to perform in pantomime and music hall as a child She gained fame in Edwardian musical comedies in the 1890s She found considerable success on tour in Australia, South Africa, America and other places in pantomime, variety and vaudeville in the new century At the age of 70 she began a film career, which she pursued for over a dozen years This is a Very good copy in green cloth, with gilt titles (now somewhat faded) on spine Spine ends are bumped, and there two very small water spots on front cover Binding is quite sound Page edges are slightly age toned, but no other marks or damage to text at all No DJ Inscribed by the author in the year of publication This autobiography of this long-famous actress is quite uncommon, even unsigned Signed copies are exceedingly rare This is one of only two signed copies I have ever encountered 263 pp. Seller Inventory # AA1833
