The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit >>>> A BEAUTIFUL SIGNED & LINED UK FIRST EDITION & FIRST PRINTING HARDBACK - UNIQUE AS IT INCLUDES A "FROM HILL TOP - BEATRIX POTTER'S HOUSE AT SAWREY" BOOKPLATE!! <<<<

A brand new picture book starring the world's most famous rabbit - Peter Rabbit. In this exciting adventure from Oscar-winning screenwriter and actress Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee, Sense and Sensibility) Peter Rabbit squeezes under the gate into Mr. McGregor's garden and is carted away from his beloved Lake District to the Scottish lowlands. This plucky little rabbit soon finds himself in the middle of a great big, brand new adventure and has the best fun!

Emma Thompson writes with a dry humour, similar to Beatrix Potter's own. She is the perfect choice of author for this new Peter Rabbit tale, to be published by Potter's first publisher, Frederick Warne - 110 years after the original.

The delightful illustrations were created by Eleanor Taylor who has been writing and illustrating picture books for the last fifteen years. She has a great affinity for the countryside which is beautifully reflected in the engaging characters and beautiful scenes illustrated in The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit.

If you grew up with Beatrix Potter's books, we're sure this tale will entertain you just as much as it will your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and any other little ones you know!

Emma Thompson is an Oscar-winning screenwriter and actress who lives in London and Argyll. Emma's Further Tale of Peter Rabbit was published in 2012 and was featured in the New York Times Bestseller list - twice!
Emma said, "I've always loved Beatrix Potter, as a child and then as a mother and all the years in-between as well. When Mr Rabbit invited me to write a further tale, I was more honoured than I can say. I hope I don't let him or his extraordinary creator down."
