SIGNED. Slim oblong quarto [23 cm x 32 cm] Stapled pictorial wraps. With light rubbing and creasing to the extremities, and several small closed tears and chips in the edges of the wraps. The fore edge corners of the covers and pages are slightly dog-eared. A souvenir book, featuring Arnold's Friberg's illustrations for Cecil B. DeMille's epic film, "The Ten Commandments." Signed by Arnold Friberg on the first page. Friberg's 15 paintings for "The Ten Commandments" became the visual starting point for the movie's scenes, characters and costumes, resulting in an Academy Award Nomination for Friberg. With excerpts from an address by Cecil B. DeMille at a luncheon in his honor preceding the New York opening of "The Ten Commandments," in November, 1956. Also includes text from the writings of Josephus, and abridged text from Exodus, Deuteronomy, Numbers and Leviticus. Seller Inventory # 49000
