4to in blue cloth, silver lettering to spine. Unpaginated, approx. 32pp on thick glossy art paper, mainly full page plates in colour and b/w of Braunstein's photo-montages. This is one of the copies numbered and signed by Braunstein (No. 428) on the verso of the title-page. The total number of signed copies is unspecified though a contemporary catalogue listing stated there were 500. A few related press cuttings are loosely inserted along with a private view invitation card for Braunstein's 1997 exhibition at Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica . [CONDITION: An extremely well preserved FINE very clean and tight unmarked copy (slight bump to bottom edge of spine) in an AS NEW complete Dust Jacket. About the Author
Her work is in numerous public and private collections, including the Getty Center, National Museum of American Art, Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Library of Congress, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, and Long Beach Museum of Art.
As a public artist for the past 18 years, Braunstein has been awarded commissions by the Los Angeles MTA, Navy Memorial Heritage Association, Redevelopment Agency of Long Beach, Long Beach Transit, City of Cerritos, Los Angeles County Arts Commission and Los Angeles Museum of Art, among others. She recently collaborated with Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske on art enhancements for the Rosie the Riveter Park in Long Beach.
Terry Braunstein was the recipient of the National Book Award of the Library Fellows of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, an Artist's fellowship from the City of Long Beach, and a Visual Artist Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
