Clothbound ocatvo in dustwrapper. 165 pp. First edition. A comparative study of world poetry. This copy in about very good condition with some typical sunning to the color of the burgundy spine and some uneven offset to the front panel. The price-intact dustwrapper is lightly worn with a couple of small blemishes. With appreciative front cover blurbs by Clifton Fadiman, Mark Van Doren and William Carlos Williams. This copy hails from the library of fellow poet Hugh Seidman who studied under Zukofksy and was considered my many to be his prize pupil. INSCRIBED by Zukofsky to Seidman and dated in 1960.
