Chappell Music Company, New York. 1976. Hardcover. First Edition Thus. Inscribed by the author on the front endpage on 5/11/77. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Near Fine; light rubbing to tail from shelving. DJ: VG+; rubbing to spine edges and flap edges on jacket. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on spine and front board. 397 pp 8vo. Written by Ritter's business partner of 35 years and a singer and performer in his band. Ritter came from a simple life in Texas to country music and film fame in the 1940s with Capital Records, Columbia Records, and Decca. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
