Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, inscribed and signed by the author on the front end page: "To my cheerful friend, Mrs. (unreadable) Hill, the Goshen Canary, Evan R. Chesterman Oct. 2/14". The exterior boards of spotting and soiling, particularly on the rear cover where there is also a dent on the left side. The text portion of the interior binding appears good but there is a crack in the upper half of the front hinge. The pages showed toning due to age and there is spotting and smudge marks present, as well as foxing - the worst of which appear to be on both end pages and pastedowns.
