Quarter leather, gilt, on marbled brown boards. Presentation copy of a limited edition of 250 copies, signed by the author in 2002 on the front free endpaper and on the title page verso. Binding tight. Clean interior. Facsimile of The Goff (1743) laid into the rear flap. Held in a decorated slipcase. Accompanied by a facsimile letter, blank order form, and two adverts, including a in inscription, "Royce - At last! David". The Goff was the first literary work on early golf. Size: 8vo - over 7� - 9�" tall.
