Autobiography of General Charles Harrington Harrington with photo illustratrations. Includes two typed letters to (Lieut-)Col H S Kaye , signed by General Harrington. Both of the letters are about Armed Forces cricket matches in 1924 and 1925. Also included is an invitation for a Royal Navy & Royal Marines V The Army cricket match at Lord's in 1931, the names handwritten by the General. Cricket was one of his passions. Col. Kaye's signature is on the ffep. General Harrington, known as 'Tim', is best known for his service in WW1 and the Chanak Crisis. He later became Governor of Gibraltar and died in the same year this book was published. Book spine darkened with fraying at head and foot. Inside, some spotting to endpapers. Damp staining to fore edge margin of frontis with slight corresponding marking to the fore edge title page and contents page. Seller Inventory # 003142
