SIGNED - Octavo. Turquoise cloth covered boards and spine with black lettering on the spine. Very light bumping at the head of the spine and a fair amount of bumping at the tail. Light bumping at the tips of the lower corners. Ghost marks from tape on the upper and lower edges of the front and rear boards - and also on the front and rear endpapers - although there are no library markings, so this may have just been done by a previous owner. White endpapers have slightly darkened in a few places. Ghost mark from a paper clip on the upper edge of the half title page. Signed by the author on the title page in black pen. Binding is straight and tight. Cream colored pages are clean and crisp. 306 pages. Dust Jacket - has light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine with three 1/16" chips in the head. There is a 1/16" chip in the tip of each of the two upper outside corners, and all four outside corners have light rubbing. There is a faint trace of rubbing along the upper and lower edges of the front cover and along the upper edge of the rear cover. Previous owner damaged 1/2" of the inside edge of the front inside flap, presumably while removing the tape that, at one point, fastened the inside flaps to the endpapers. $3.75 price still visible on the upper corner of the front inside flap, along with the entirety of the text. This volume certainly has some probllems, but does have a nice overall appearance, and is uncommon with the author's signature. Seller Inventory # 001719
