Slight peripheral soiling to the wrappers, a little rubbed, and with fading to the spine text (but still legible). Page edges a little marked too, the contents clean. The signature at the end of the book (which causes confusion) is in fact printed letterpress, but nonetheless this copy has been signed by the author ('Ted') and inscribed warmly and at some length to John (James).
