Item description from seller

Extremely rare book inscribed by the author and signed & inscribed by a Dr Coyne in 1872. We cannot find another copy of this available. Very interesting book providing a comprehensive guide to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gout and rheumatic gout. Condition: fair as per photos, cover is marked, loose and has spotting. Dust on cover and inside. Some pages have pencil marks alongside paragraphs (example in photo). 145pp, approx. 13x19cm. Please note that, unless otherwise stated, our books are vintage or antique and will naturally show signs of age. These may include foxing, yellowing or browning of pages, marks, scuffing or wear to the covers, and the characteristic scent often associated with old books. These age-related characteristics are to be expected and are in addition to any condition details specifically noted in the individual book description.
