Founded in Australia in 1963, this parallel UK version was published in London from 1967 to 1973, with contributors including Germaine Greer, Michael Leuing, and Philippe Mora.This work follows the obscenity trial against Oz, a landmark trial lasting six weeks in June and July 1971, at the time being the longest obscenity trial in British history. Neville, Anderson, and Dennis were convicted for obscenity, after an issue in 1971 depicted Rupert Bear with a penis.Palmer is an award winning director and author who has worked with the likes The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.Illustrated with in-text illustrations throughout by Feliks Topolski.
