A very good copy of the first printing of the softcover (paperback) edition 1972. This copy is signed "With Pleasure" by the author on the front dedication page. This paperback copy is in very good condition--tight and unmarked with light rubbing to the panels and the lightest of edgewear. Any signed copy of this title is unique and scarce. Originally published in 1946 under Kenneth Millar--this was Ross MacDonald's first book. A really nice copy.
