Green cloth with spine titles & cover decoration in gilt; 8vo; 97pp; illustrated with title page decorations, chapter head-piece vignettes and pictorial endsheets; top edge gilt; green paper-over-board slipcase with paste-on title label; clear mylar dust wrapper; the trade edition, published in an edition of 1500 unnumbered copies. A collection of 26 stories of trout and salmon fishing from the States and Canada. Lamb's first book of six published by Barre. This copy in near fine condition, in like jacket. The slipcase is VG with light rubbing around edges. Inscribed by Lamb to fellow ACNY member Grinnell Morris in year of publication.
