First edition, stated. Signed by the author on the front endpaper: "Judith St. George." A young adult novel set during the American Revolutionary War. Bound in light blue cloth-covered boards with black printing on the spine. A former owner name/address stamp at the top of the front endpaper, else unmarked; spine square; some wear to top corners and spine ends; a white stain on the back board. The dust jacket is not price-clipped (original price $4.95); chipped and edgeworn, with two inch-long closed tears to the top of the front panel, and inch-triangular pieces missing at the top and bottom of the front panel; Brodart protected.
