First edition, first print. Inscribed by the illustrator on the title page to the children of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath with the words: 'To Frieda and Nicholas and get Dad to read it Ralph Steadman 3 Nov. 71' Another dedication also (I believe) in Steadman's handwriting is on the pastedown endpaper: 'For Ann'. Book is in very good condition, with no bumps to the boards. Internally clean. Jacket is not price-clipped. Tear at base of spine and top of spine; closed edge tear to top edge of front panel.
