Instructional book on tying primarily dry flies in the famed "Catskill" style. He discusses tools, hackles, wing & body materials and effective patterns all interspersed with Rube Cross anecdotes and fishing talk. Book in good condition with end papers lightly foxed, o/w internally clean; slightly worn dust jacket. The author's 1st book, bearing a signed presentation on the front free endpaper along with owner's inked name. Cross signed very few books-an uncommon find.
