About this Item
Grossman Publishers. NY. 365 pages. First edition, stated first printing. 1965. Signed in person by Ralph Nader directly to the title page. No inscription, signature only. The book is crisp, tight and clean. Corners are sharp. Pages are bright white and lay perfectly. Original 1st issue DJ with $5.95 price intact. The DJ is nearly fine which is nearly an impossible feat for this aged black DJ that is notorious for being a most difficult DJ to locate in collectible condition. This one is about as nice as you'll be able to find. Only a handful of small marks/rubs, none being notable. An incredible copy, both book and DJ. In March of 1999, the New York Times published a list of the top 100 books in journalism excellence. The panel consisted of 36 judges and was compiled by New York University's School of Journalism. Unsafe at Any Speed ranked 38th among the top 100 pieces of journalism of the 20th century. Additionally, Ralph Nader was recently named by the Atlantic as one of the 100 most influential figures in American history, one of only 4 living people to be so honored. A truly beautiful and rare copy. Seller Inventory # 000897
