Sarah Cortez holds degrees from Rice University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Houston. Her work has previously appeared in literary magazines, anthologies, and chapbooks. She is a winner of the PEN Texas Literary Award for Poetry. How to Undress a Cop is her first book.
