About the Author

David Wilbourne continues his family tradition of Yorkshire vicars in Helmsley, a moorland market town in North Yorkshire, England. Previously chaplain to two Archbishops of York, he has written several books, including the sequel, A Summer's Diary. He maintains that his life's ambition is to take the tedium out of the Church of England and replace it with sheer fun.
