First Edition. Hardback. Dust Jacket. 8vo. pp 290. Original publishers red cloth, lettered silver at the spine. Signed presentation from the author on the front endpaper, "My best wishes, Alison Adburgham 1967." A collection of articles on fashions shows, parties and people in London, Paris, Italy and New York, including a section looking back to the surprising sportswomen of Victorian and Edwardian times. Very good indeed in slightly used and nicked, near very good dust jacket, with slight loss.
