If you are a discerning Koontz collector then this is the copy you are missing from your shelf. My own personal copy for many years, I am selling it because I need to trim down my collection and, as such, I am concentrating on the UK editions. Published by Putnam in 1977 this book is SIGNED AND LENGTHILY INSCRIBED BY DEAN R KOONTZ AS FOLLOWS: "TO HOWARD, THE PUBLISHER SWORE ON HIS MOTHER'S GRAVE THAT THE JACKET WOULD NOT HAVE A BAT ON IT BECAUSE THAT WOULD GIVE AWAY PART OF THE PLOT. WELL IF YOU CHECK THE JACKET, YOU'LL SEE THAT THE PUBLISHER HAD NO RESPECT WHATSOEVER FOR HIS MOTHER." The jacket is Very Fine and unclipped - it states $8.95 and has the code 7711 on the inner flat to confirm the first edition jacket.
