It is signed by Mr. Cussler directly on the title page and it makes a great presentation. In the middle of its maiden voyage, a luxury cruise ship suddenly catches fire and sinks. What caused it? Why didn't the alarms go off? What was its connection to the revolutionary engines that powered the ship? Enter Dirk Pitt, who races to rescue the passengers and investigate the disaster. But he has no idea of the bizarre chain of events that are about to engulf him. This book has never been read and although the dustjacket does not scan well due to its colors.
