Vengeance Betrayed

Prominent Member of Parliament and advisor to U.K. leadership, Geoffrey Ramsden is obsessed in his efforts to derail the ongoing discussions in Northern Ireland. A Protestant Loyalist, Ramsden will brook no concessions or conciliations with Catholic Sinn Fein. He has very personal reasons and he's contrived a shocking scheme, the Shamrock Plan, to disrupt the current talks. But when the troubled American wife of a British consulate official stumbles across part of his plan, she turns the information over to the one person she feels she can trust, and then drops out of sight. Ramsden holds nothing back in his attempts to keep the plot from being exposed, the discussions in Belfast from proceeding, and his political and personal reputation unscathed. Suspense builds relentlessly as Vengeance Betrayed takes the reader on a gripping journey from London's halls of power to the streets of Boston, and from the quaint cloisters of Quebec to the picturesque hamlets of England's Lake District. This is a compelling saga of deception, a chronicle of developing self awareness, and a revealing portrait of misguided fervor.
