Campbell, Jr. Illustrated by Sol Levin. Square, tight and clean throughout with mild bumping and rubbing to spine ends. A tiny spot or two on boards and some some spotting to the top of the text block. Very well-preserved. Attractive clipped dust-jacket, ($3.00 stamped on top of front flap), has some chipping to spine ends and a couple of closed edge-tears. Some soiling and surface rubbing. Still bright and complete. Signed by the author on the front end-paper. Further signed and warmly inscribed on the half-title page to clearly a close associate, "Dear John: With appreciation for comment regarding th contents and appreciation for other bits of good stuff by a guy named "Coupling" --You might pass this around to the guys at Bell Lab. Anyway -- George O. Smith". John R. Peirce, (1910-2002), was former Director of Research in Elelctonic Communications at Bell Labs and author for articles in "Astounding" under the pseudonym "J.J.
