238 pages, frontispiece, 31 plates, and a folding map, inscribed "With the Author's compls", hardback (maroon cloth), small oval stamp ('Burton Hill Petworth') on four preliminary leaves and on the reverse of one plate, spine was dull but has been stained red and the lettering thereon has been renewed in gilt, corners of covers are a bit bumped - but a generally very good copy of a book in which, perhaps uniquely.
