Limited Edition, signed and numbered by Andre Malraux. This is no. 38 of 160 such copies. Bound in full burgundy leather and housed in a slipcase. Top page edges gilt. Good condition only. Leather of the spine is well-rubbed and worn. In addition, there's a visible split at the front joint which was quite possibly repaired at some point as it feels sturdy enough now. Regrettably, there's a (non-authorial) gift inscription on the limitations page directly under the author's signature. Contents in nice shape. Slipcase with some edge-wear and uneven fading. 661 pages.
