The first edition of this work, rebound in attractive full crushed morocco.Inscribed and signed by the author to title page 'To Patricia from Charles Morgan with blessings, August 27 1941.' Rebound in full crushed morocco with five raised bands and gilt to boards, new marbled endpapers, gilt to edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, minor rubbing to spine, slight darkening to margins of boards. Signed and inscribed by author to title page, dated 1941. Internally, firmly bound.
