British signed (by both the author and illustrator) limited edition, first printing, 1968. Number 45 of 200 numbered copies. With original glassine (clear plastic) jacket and slipcase. Large format. Subtitled - and other versions of poems by Baudelaire. Illustrated by Sidney Nolan with eight full page colour plates and 16 monochrome plates. All illustrations are present and in fine condition. Large purple slipcase is very good with a few marks, a little patchy fading, the odd small bump/rub and a few minor scratches. Glassine jacket is very good with a few small marks, few scratches, the odd small (approx. 1cm) tear and a little loss to head of spine/a couple of corners). Boards are near fine with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd very small mark, odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed purple. No internal faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
