Moderate shelf wear to boards, including bumping to head and tail of spine, and mild age toning/light scratching to text block. Dust jacket protected by mylar covering; black lettering to yellow spine; moderate wear to dust jacket, including chipping and small closed tears to edges of covers; slight material loss to middle of front cover at hinge; price uncut: "$5.00."Spine split between front paste-down and recto of front free endpaper; front board and spine partially detached from binding. Mild age toning to interior, text remains clear and legible. Signed by Douglas to half-title page. Shelved in Case 1 1/2. William O. Douglas was an associate justice with the U.S. Supreme Court from 1939-1975. He was best known for his opinions on Griswold v.
