A STUNNING VIBRANT SIGNED LITHOGRAPH OF MAX AND THE WILD THINGS IN A RUMPUS MARCHING ABOUT WITH MAX SITTING ON TOP HOLDING HIS SCEPTER Maurice Sendak signed vibrant lithograph from Where The Wild Things Are. Max is sitting on top of the one of the Wild Things, dressed in his wolf suit with his crown and holding his scepter, while all the Wild Things Are Marching About in a festive Rumpus. Full sheet size of 23.5? x 14.5?, the sheet was originally printed and issued in 1971 as part of a series of favorite images selected by Sendak from his original art in the Sendak archives. Fine condition. In the book the picture is produced as double-page spreads divided in the middle and printed on two separate pages with a center crease, here the picture is printed for the first time on a single sheet of white wove paper. Boldly signed by Maurice Sendak in the lower right corner as ?Maurice Sendak? A handsome signed poster of an iconic image. Would be stunning framed.
