Loosely inserted good 2 page signed letter to Nancy Bowden and her sister, Jill-Anne - friends and correspondents of Richmal Crompton -they worked at Cyril Beaumont's bookshop, 75 Charing Cross Road. From an address in Chislehurst date 20/12/66 thanking them profusely for an unnamed book that will ' literally give me years of delight.' She also mentions article about her and William in the Sunday Times. Signed 'Much love, Richmal.' Also include a 2 page signed letter that appears to lack the first page. It mentions the book runner and character Fred Bason 'a little of him goes a long way but he's a character!' Also talks about a call from Kentish Times asking if she thought Chislehurst was a dull place, also arranging to see the sisters. About 150 words in all.
