This is a UK first edition hardcover published in 1978 by Hodder & Stoughton AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. The jacket is Fine overall and unclipped (£4.50). There is a couple feint creases tot he inside front flap that I mention for completeness only. The book is Near Fine with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The page edges are off-white and there is a small stain to the front end paper. The copyright page confirms the first UK publication in 1978. This is the only UK first edition signed online at the time of listing. Seller Inventory # 011896
