Watermelon Hill is a look at the life and times of the forties and fifties as seen through thte eyes of a young boy growing up on a poor farm in eastern Kentucky. These storeis of a hard working family, struggloing sometimes to make ends meet, but never losing their pride. A nostalgic, sometimes humorous look into the past where there were few if any conveniences, lots of hard work, and people had to make their own entertainment.
