About this Item

Signed and inscribed by Robert S. Brookings in the same year as the publication, and mere months before his death. Text is unmarked; pages are bright, though the page edges are age toned and the top edge of the pages is foxed. Binding is sturdy. The upper corner of the front cover is bumped. Dust jacket is worn around the edges, with small chips missing from the corners and from the base of the spine. There are a series of small stains on the dust jacket, mostly along the spine. The spine of the dust jacket is faded and the lower corner of the front flap is clipped (though the price is up in the top corner of the front flap).
