[8], 306pp, [4], printed on Ruisdael laid paper, bound in half Japanese vellum and paper, binding and hinges tight, head-pieces, decorative and historiated initials, frontis-piece, decorative title page in red and black, 44 plates, occasional text illustration, with a double page map in back [no tears]. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper "To James Verner Lang with the regard of Katharine Hooker. Includes a bookplate for Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt, (1882-1963) well known American bookbinder and book collector. There is also a mounted albumen photograph of Dervio - Lake Como, taken by Katharine Hooker. Limited to 300 copies.
