A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers

This 1975 Limited Editions Club release of A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers by Henry David Thoreau is a distinguished collector's volume. The Limited Editions Club version revitalized the text for collectors, pairing Thoreau's reflections on nature, theology, and ecology with Holden's artistic interpretations, making it a sought-after item for enthusiasts of American transcendentalist literature and fine press books. This copy is number 269 and is signed by the illustrator R. J. Holden. The book is beautifully made and is in “like-new” condition as you can see from the photos.
