The Weerde : Book 1' devised by Gaiman, Neil and Gentle, Mary and Kaveney, Roz. This book is a paperback first edition with full number line. SIGNED to the front simply 'Roz' by Roz Kaveney who apart from being a writer is a transgender rights and civil liberties activist. A smart paperback published by ROC, an imprint of Penguin, UK 1992. The covers are bright with very good edges and tips. The spine bears very fine creases but it is not 'broken' and is firm and complete. It may be a little faded as the covers are mainly black and the spine is blue although titles are very clear. The pages are age-toned otherwise clean and unmarked apart from signature. Edges of text block are age toned with light age spots. Overall a very good copy. 'The Weerde' contains eleven 'chilling' tales. The authors are Mary Gentle, Colin Greenland, Brian Stableford, Joesphine Saxton, Charles Stross, Roz Kaveney, Paul Cornell, Chris Amies, Michael Fern and Liz Holliday. The prologue is by Neil Gaiman and Roz Kaveney. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
